Platform Connections

AutoPostMD connects only after you authorize access and uses each connection to perform the publishing actions you request.

Effective and last updated: September 15, 2026

How authorization works

  1. Select a supported platform inside AutoPostMD.
  2. Continue to the provider's authorization screen.
  3. Review the requested permissions and choose the account or destination.
  4. Return to AutoPostMD and confirm the connected identity.
  5. Review each publishing campaign before scheduling or publishing.

AutoPostMD does not need your social-platform password. The provider returns an authorization credential that allows only the permissions shown on its consent screen.

YouTube

  • Identify the channel you select
  • Upload approved video details and settings
  • Retrieve publishing and processing results

Instagram

  • Connect an eligible professional account
  • Publish the approved video and caption
  • Retrieve the provider publishing status

Facebook

  • Choose the Page you manage
  • Publish approved post copy and media
  • Record the provider result and post identifier

LinkedIn

  • Choose an authorized destination
  • Publish the approved video and post copy
  • Record the returned post result

TikTok

  • Confirm creator information and privacy
  • Review interaction and disclosure settings
  • Submit approved content and retrieve status

You remain in control

  • Confirm the visible destination identity before publishing.
  • Edit platform-specific copy and settings separately.
  • Choose whether to publish now or schedule for later.
  • Disconnect the account in AutoPostMD or revoke access with the provider.
  • Manage or delete posts already published using the provider's own tools.

Disconnecting or revoking access stops future authorized actions. It does not automatically remove content that has already been published.

When a connection needs attention

Provider credentials can expire or become invalid after password changes, permission changes, account restrictions, security events, or provider policy updates. AutoPostMD may ask you to reconnect before a scheduled post can continue.

If the displayed destination is not the one you intended, do not publish. Disconnect it and repeat the connection flow. Contact support@autopostmd.com if the issue continues.
